Security Academy

The Security Academy, founded in 2007, is the training institute in the Netherlands and Belgium that specifically focuses on the fields of information security, business continuity, privacy & data protection and crisis management. We offer training at HBO level for (prospective) security specialists who are looking for more than just subject matter. The goal of the Security Academy is to train talented and motivated students to become professional security guards who can act as a bridge between management and operations.

Our motto is “ **Practically applicable knowledge** ”. We strongly believe in offering training in which practice plays a leading role. Partly for this reason, in addition to certification courses from IAPP, (ISC)2 and ISACA, we have also included the SECO-Institute certification process in our portfolio. The SECO-Institute courses are aimed at preparing the student for a specific role/function in the organization where practical situations are simulated through a fictitious company called Bicsma.
